Happy Birthday Cafecito Break

$2 of $8,000 raised

It’s Cafecito’s 6th Birthday and we are inviting you to help us celebrate this momentous occasion with a monetary contribution.

Since 2012 we have produced an independent critical thinking community podcast based in Brooklyn called Cafecito Break.

Last year, we experienced an epiphany…

We understood that we needed to rise past our discomforts and step up and get more involved.

Cafecito Break wanted to be more than an internet show/podcast.

We felt a calling to be anchored in the community. So we started creating events that brought people together.

Cafecito Break teamed up with local community groups and businesses.

Together we lead and/or collaborated with four Donation/Relief Drives for hurricane and earthquake victims of Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Mexico.

We also donated our time and co hosted a Local Festival and Local Community Benefits for Puerto Rico.

In addition, we organized two “podcast” holiday market socials that brought artisans and entrepreneurs together.

(We will do this again this Nov and Dec 2018)

Cafecito Break Podcast and events attract a soulful like minded loving communal vibe. They are healing to the soul on so many levels.

We create these podcasts and events with very little resources. We invest a lot of personal time and energy to produce these endeavors. Your contribution will help us continue to expand our vision and the lives we touch.

How can you help you ask?
Please support/contribute to Cafecito Break.

you can start now if you want 😉

There are so many ways… Feel free to be wild and crazy and try them all.

Our vision calls for a healthy budget for marketing, promotions, promotional materials, a higher investment in hosting platforms, new equipment, a stronger website, host and co host honorariums, and more.

In addition, we seek to raise money to create these community events that bring people together and energize our continued message of how important it is to support home and local.

What we are up to now?
Starting Feb 14th, the Perez Sisters, Rosangel and Alex of Cafecito Break will be hosting a live podcast community event at a local restaurant in Brooklyn called Bee Hive Oven. Join us on Wednesdays at 11am, be a part of an interactive chat, share some coffee with us and patronize a local restaurant.

We welcome your support, advice, tips, contributions, suggestions, recommendations.

And we look forward to sharing some behind the podcast stories that reveal why Cafecito Break is so very special to us.

Thank you in advance. RA, Alex, and Ruthie

“Your life right now is a reflection of your past thoughts. That includes all the great things, and all the things you consider not so great. Since you attract to you what you think about most, it is easy to see what your dominant thoughts have been on every subject of your life, because that is what you have experienced. Until now!” ― Rhonda Byrne, The Secret We invite you to grab your cup of warmth and listen below to our latest Cafecito chat with Rosangel and Ruthie.
