The Spirit Warrior Way in Today’s World – Arriale Starbird

The Yin and Yang duality of all creation defines our lives. Enlightenment does not occur by ignoring the dark, in favor of the light, but by integrating the truth and love from both polarities. To mature spiritually, we must see and be transformed by all of reality. Shamans, Masters and Mystics of ancient traditions had the wisdom to dance with their shadows, the courage to see all aspects of their natures, the beautiful and light, and the terrible and dark. The sacred calling of a Spirit Warrior is to transform dark into light, make the unconscious conscious. Total deep healing of your mind, soul and body can occur only when the split in your identity is merged. Arriale discusses Shamanic Energy Medicine tools of working with the forces of Light, for transformation, healing, and protection from intrusive dark forces, while you are on your hero’s journey.

The Level of Tension in the Air is Affecting Everyone Across the Country – Assemblyman Marcos Crespo

“And it’s not a healthy environment right now, but we need to find our way out of it..”

Assemblyman Marcos Crespo from the Bronx, NY is back with Ruthie and RA for a live Cafecito Chat.

A community is mourning.  Many people are feeling hopeless and enraged. The political environment is dramatic and extremism on both sides seem to be dominating the conversation.  People have lost faith in media and are losing faith in politics.

We begin our conversation discussing the traumatic loss of Junior Lesandro Guzman-Feliz in the Bronx.  How do we move forward as a community to ensure that we are all actively being vigilant and using discernment so that we can prevent tragedies of this nature from ever occurring again?

The tension is the air is so strong that some people, politicians, and certain media personalities are screaming and pointing fingers, instead of initiating a conversation.

Marcos cautions us to be aware of what he calls, “misguided anger syndrome”, where people tend to blame and react to the wrong sources.

While there seems to be so much hopelessness in the air, Ruthie, RA and Assemblyman Marcos Crespo all agree that is it a time to come together.  It is time for a shared vision.  It is a time to focus on shared values and ideas.

Conversations like these remind Ruthie and I that there are good authentic people working in government and that we can not lose faith in all politicians.  We invite you to listen to our interview below.
